Bothwell Cheese is opening its first Winnipeg store at Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport.

The store will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week and located on the second floor of the air terminal building near the security checkpoint.

“We are delighted to open our first retail location at Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport,” says Bothwell Cheese President and CEO Ivan Balenovic. “We invite everyone – travelers, Winnipeggers, and airport staff alike - to drop by for a visit to try our cheese and see our new products.”

To mark the opening, Bothwell Cheese will be holding a MEDIA EVENT at its new airport store on Wednesday, June 10 at 3 p.m. The event will begin promptly at 3 p.m. with remarks from Ivan Balenovic and Barry Rempel.

The media event will last approximately 30 minutes and include a cheese tasting, and Q & A. Media will also have the opportunity to tour the new store, interview the Bothwell Cheese president, chef, and store manager, and get an overview of the new products – including a special cheese travel pack for airline passengers.

Validated parking vouchers for media will be provided for Short Term Lot 1 (www.waa.ca/parking).
